Police trying to identify retail theft suspect

Windsor Police hope the public can help identify a suspect wanted in connection with a retail theft from a business in the south end of the city.

It happened on August 25. A man walked into the store on Cabana Road East and took several items from the shelves before proceeding to the self-checkout aisle.

Police say the man didn't pay for two items worth more than $300 before leaving the store.

Investigators are looking for a white man between 25 and 35-years-old. He is 5'10" with a medium build and wore glasses, a black sweater, grey pants, and black running shoes at the time of the incident.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
