Unifor Local 195 continues to be at a stand-still in contract negotiations with Titan Tool and Die.
The 27 members have been locked out since August 11.
Unifor Local 195 President Emile Nabbout indicated the union rejected the company's latest 15 page offer.
"The employer continues saying maybe some of the members are willing to take some of those concessions, so we test the floor today and we got a hundred per cent mandate from the members that concession is not an option," said Nabbout.
The two sides last met on September 29, 2025.
According to the union, the rejected offer included a three-year wage freeze, reduction of company pension contributions, and mandatory overtime.
"We are at a stalemate with the employer. We will continue trying to find a way to engage with them in the hopes that the company change their position. But from our perspective as a union we are not changing where we stand today," said Nabbout.
He said the union will continue to have a presence on site at Titan Tool and Die despite a court injunction. The injunction states they cannot obstruct entry or exit but does not prohibit reasonable delays.
Nabbout said the members are in good spirits despite being out of work for nearly two months.
"We asked clearly from the employer what is their plan, what's the future for this facility, how many jobs they may have, do they have a job, do they have a customer and to this point the company has not indicated anything," said Nabbout.
