Windsor police are asking for assistance in locating a person who held up a downtown business last week.
Officers responded to a security alarm at around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday at a business on Wyandotte Street West and Dougall Avenue. Police were then told that a suspect entered with a firearm and a rock, confronted an employee, and demanded money.
The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and ran west on Wyandotte West, then south on Church Street. No one was hurt.
An image taken from a security camera has been released. The suspect was wearing a black hoodie, black pants, a navy sweater covering his face, black and white Nike shoes, and a red backpack worn on his chest.
Residents and business owners have been asked to check any security camera or dashcam footage and notify police if anything unusual is discovered.
