Wyandotte Town Centre BIA to give away turkeys

The Wyandotte Town Centre Business Improvement Association is giving away turkeys to those in need ahead of Thanksgiving.

"We know times have been challenging for many families. Giving away free turkeys is our small way of saying thank you and celebrating the spirit of gratitude, kindness, and community that makes our neighbourhood such a special place," said Chair Larry Horwitz.

The turkeys will be given away at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday at Al Sabeel Restaurant, located on Wyandotte Street East.

The association has 150 turkeys to give to families.

Turkeys will be limited to one per family, and those going are asked to bring a bag.
