Investigation continues into Terra Bella fire in LaSalle

LaSalle Police and investigators from the Ontario Fire Marshal's Office have wrapped up the on-scene investigation into a $4-million fire in LaSalle, but still hope someone in the public can shed some light on how it started.

The fire on September 28 on Terra Bella Drive damaged three homes in an upscale neighbourhood.

When firefighters arrived around 12:30 a.m., heavy smoke and flames were coming from the residence.

The home that was destroyed was listed for sale at $1.8-million. The flames caused $2-million in damage to a home next door, and a third home suffered $100,000 in damage.

No one was hurt.

The off-site investigation continues, and anyone with information is asked to call the LaSalle Police Criminal Investigation Division at cid@lasallepolice.ca or call Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477.
