Bright Lights Windsor preparations get underway

It's already that time of year when the City of Windsor starts preparations for this year's Bright Lights Windsor event.

Starting Tuesday, crews will start putting up fencing along the north end of Jackson Park along Tecumseh Road East. The service road north of the Queen Elizabeth II Sunken Gardens will also close, but access to other paths and areas of the park is open.

Last year, more than 105,000 people enjoyed the displays at Bright Lights Windsor.

Once again this year, installations will take place in phases to minimize impact on park users.
