Gestational Diabetes Program moves to weCHC

The Gestational Diabetes Program at Windsor Regional Hospital has moved.

It's at the Windsor Essex Community Health Centre now.

"This improves accessibility for patients who will be receiving tremendous care from the weCHC nurses and dieticians," said Windsor Regional Hospital CEO and President Karen Riddell. "We are confident in the success of this transition, which makes great use of the expert resources available in our community."

Nancy Brockenshire, the executive director of weCHC, said the program will continue to provide expectant mothers with education, counselling, and personalized support. Those services help reduce risks for expectant mothers with gestational diabetes and their babies.
