Amazon Web disruption affects Windsor's 311 service

If you are having trouble connecting with the City of Windsor's 311 service, there's a good reason.

The City has confirmed that the 311 service request system has been disrupted.

A global outage of Amazon Web Services is to blame, with multiple platforms going offline. Phone and internet providers have also been affected, including Motorola, which provides the City with the 311 software.

General information inquiries about municipal services are still going through, but services may not be requested during the outage.

The City said in a media release Monday afternoon that it is working with its partners to resolve the issue and appreciates everyone's patience.
