One person injured after vehicle crashes into LaSalle supermarket

LaSalle police are investigating a single-vehicle crash into a business on Monday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to the Zehrs supermarket on Malden Road at around 2:30 p.m.. They found that a vehicle was somehow driven through the front window of the store, coming to rest just inside.

One person inside the store was treated in hospital for undisclosed injuries.

There is no word on any charges, as the investigation is ongoing.

The store was open and operating normally as of early Monday evening.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
