Charges laid after car crashes into LaSalle store

LaSalle police have laid charges after a car crashed into a grocery store on Malden Road Monday afternoon.

LaSalle police were called to the scene around 2:30 p.m. where they found the car had crashed through the front window of the store.

A Windsor man who was inside the store was struck by the vehicle. He was taken to the hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.

A 73-year-old LaSalle woman is facing charges of careless driving causing bodily harm.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
