World Series watch party returns to downtown Windsor

The Downtown Windsor Business Improvement Association is once again hosting watch parties for the World Series.

The first watch party took place at City Hall Square for Game 1.

Now that the series is moving back to Toronto, it's hosting parties for Game 6 on Friday night and Game 7 on Saturday night.

Both events will be held again at City Hall Square.

"City Hall Square is the perfect spot for fans to take in the game," said Ward 3 Councillor Renaldo Agostino. "This is another great opportunity to celebrate our community, create memories, enjoy an unforgettable experience together, and make magic in the downtown core."

Both nights, the parties start at 7 p.m. with food from the G.O.A.T. Tap and Eatery, and libations from WindsorEats.

Those attending are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs or blankets to sit on.

So far, the Jays are up three games to two against the Dodgers after winning Wednesday night's game 6-1 in Los Angeles.

The event is sponsored by LiUNA!625.
