Driver charged after weapon seizure at Ambassador Bridge

A driver entering Canada has learned the hard way that weapons and ammunition may not be brought into the country.

In a case shared on Wednesday on social media, Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) officers sent an American driver to secondary inspection at the Ambassador Bridge in Windsor.

Five firearms were found, along with 22 magazines and ammunition.

Few additional details were made available, but the driver is now facing charges.
