Windsor police have arrested a 50-year-old man for an alleged violation of bail conditions.
Police said the man was granted bail on January 7 after being charged with sexual assault. Among the conditions was that he stay at his residence.
On Monday, bail compliance officers learned that the suspect had been violating the conditions and arrested him on Dougall Avenue near Beals Street. Police said that he was not accompanied by his surety.
The suspect has been charged with two counts of failure to comply with a release order.
The charges have not been proven in court.
