Windsor police laid charges in two separate impaired driving incidents early Friday.
Just after midnight, officers were called for a possible impaired driver in the area of Tecumseh Road East and Drouillard Road. When they arrived they found a man asleep behind the wheel, with his foot on the brake and the vehicle still in drive.
The driver was placed under arrest. A search of the vehicle uncovered multiple packages of suspected fentanyl and cocaine.
The 39-year-old was charged with impaired operation and possession of a scheduled substance for trafficking.
Officers were then called to a two-vehicle collision in a parking lot on Dougall Avenue.
Police reported they detected a strong odour of alcohol and saw signs of impairment.
The 65-year-old was charged with impaired driving.
