74-year-old driver charged after crash in Kingsville

A 74-year-old man from Leamington faces impaired driving charges after a crash in Kingsville on Wednesday.

That was on Road 2 East, near Jasperson Drive, around 3:50 p.m. The vehicle went into a ditch.

The driver has had his license suspended for 90 days, while his vehicle sits in an impound lot for a week.

Meanwhile, an 18-year-old Leamington man is also charged with impaired driving after a traffic stop early Tuesday morning on Queen's Valley Drive in Kingsville.

The teen is also charged with having cannabis readily available in his vehicle, being a novice driver in the presence of drugs, and failing to display two plates on the car.

He has a court date on May 14 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor.
