Two men are facing charges of theft and break and enter after an investigation by the Windsor Police Service last week.
Police report that on the morning of April 26, 2026, two suspects stole a vehicle from a property on Grand Marais Road East near Meighen Road.
They said the car was then driven to a business in the area where a locked trailer was broken into and several power tools were stolen.
Police recovered the stolen vehicle the next day on Reginald Street. A rotary saw, power drill, grinder, and reciprocating saw were found in the vehicle's trunk.
The Windsor Police Auto Theft Unit identified two suspects. They were both arrested on May 1.
The 48-year-old and 53-year-old are both facing charges of theft, break and enter, possession of break-in instruments, and possession of property obtained by crime.
