LaSalle looking for public comment on new development manual

If you like to look at the technical details of things, the Town of LaSalle has an opportunity for residents.

The Town has asked residents and those who work in development and real estate for their input on a new draft development manual. It spells out the procedures, standards, and requirements for land development in LaSalle.

"Its purpose is to support efficient, well‑planned, and innovative development while applying trusted and proven design practices that reflect the community’s long‑term vision," read a release from the Town.

The draft manual is divided into two sections - planning and engineering.

The public is invited to an information session on Thursday, May 21, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., at the LaSalle Civic Centre's council chambers.

The draft manual is also available on the Town's official website for people to review and share feedback via PlaceSpeak.
