Windsor police say a woman is facing a charge after a crash that took out a tree and left one person injured.
Officers responded to a call about a collision at around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday on Jefferson Boulevard near Coronation Avenue. They learned that a minivan, traveling southbound on Jefferson, struck parked vehicles before jumping the curb and striking a tree in front of a house.
The minivan suffered severe front damage, and the parked vehicles had extensive damage.
One passenger in the minivan was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver, a 38-year-old woman, has been cited for careless driving.
Jefferson Boulevard was closed for several hours between Coronation and Lassaline. It reopened just before 8 p.m.
