Pair arrested for early morning break-in

Windsor police officers arrested and charged two suspects after a break-in early Monday morning.

Police report they were called to a warehouse on University Avenue near Alymer Avenue around 9 a.m.

Investigators determined two suspects broke into the property just before 6 a.m. and stole around $50,000 of power tools and other goods.

A nearby resident also reported their Herby Curby was stolen overnight.

Around 30 minutes later, officers tracked down the suspects with the garbage bin and other stolen property on Bruce Avenue.

The 36-year-old and 39-year-old were charged with break and enter, theft, and possession of property obtained by crime.
