Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) remained busy this week, patrolling Windsor-Essex roads for impaired drivers.
Patrol officers arrested three drivers this week on various charges.
The first arrest was around 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, in Essex. OPP officers conducted a traffic stop on the Third Concession Road after a complaint was received.
A 47-year-old Essex man is charged with driving with excessive blood-alcohol concentration.
The second arrest was in Leamington on Thursday morning. Police responded to a complaint about a suspicious vehicle.
A 29-year-old Leamington man has been charged with impaired driving and driving with excessive blood-alcohol.
Finally, a traffic stop was conducted on Herring Street in Essex shortly before 3 a.m. on Friday.
A 45-year-old Essex man is charged with impaired driving and failure or refusal to comply with a demand.
The charges have not been proven in court.
All three drivers had their vehicles impounded for seven days, and will have a chance to respond to the charges in a Windsor court in mid-July.
