Windsor Police have a man in custody following an incident in the city's west end.
Police received a call Thursday morning about a man with a butcher knife on McEwan Avenue between University Avenue East and Martindale Street.
The public had been asked not to approach the man, but to call 911 if they saw him.
Shortly after 10:30 a.m., investigators reported that the suspect was holed up in a house on McEwan Avenue.
An arrest was made just before 1 p.m.
