The Town of Essex, just like the City of Windsor, is looking for workers to staff this fall's municipal elections.
Essex is looking for deputy returning officers, voters' list amendment clerks, tabulator deputy returning officers, and information officers and greeters. They'll work at polling stations across Essex Centre, Harrow, McGregor, and Colchester.
Those interested in applying for positions in Essex can file their application on the Town of Essex website.
Most election positions offer $225 to $300 per day, and $50 to $60 for mandatory training. All positions require availability for up to 13 hours on assigned voting days.
Meanwhile, those interested in applying for a position in Windsor can visit www.WindsorElections.ca to complete an online application.
Municipal elections in Ontario are set for October 26.
