Man charged after vandalism at church

A 47-year-old man has been charged in connection with vandalism at a local church.

Windsor police report the man was seen on surveillance video throwing rocks through the windows of a church on Giles Boulevard.

The suspect's photo was distributed to the public last week.

On Saturday, the Problem Oriented Policing Unit located and arrested the suspect.

He was charged with two counts of mischief under $5,000.

Windsor police have thanked the public for helping them identify the suspect.
