A fast-growing Windsor-Essex tradition will end its season on Friday night.
The Walkerville Distillery District Night Market will take place on Argyle Road between Wyandotte Street East and Brant Street, right by the radio studios of Blackburn Media (COOL 100.7FM, Big Country 95.9 FM / 92.7 FM, and MIX 96.7FM), one of the events' sponsors.
The street will be transformed from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. It's free and open to all ages.
Features will include live entertainment, a large vendor market, and food trucks. Beer is also available from the Walkerville Brewery.
"This season of the Walkerville Distillery District Night Market has brought together people from all over our beautiful city to enjoy and support our amazing local businesses," read a release from the brewery.
This was the first year that the market was scheduled for four months. Previously, a September market was used as a rain date for those disrupted by bad weather.
