Two people are facing charges and a third is on the run after a Windsor break-in.
Officers were called to Howard Avenue near Hanna Street East around 11 a.m. on Tuesday for a break-and-enter in progress. Police almost immediately arrested two people in an alley behind the house.
Police learned that the three suspects entered the house, damaged wiring and lighting, and tampered with an HVAC system. Police also found one suspect carrying a bag containing copper wiring and a copper pipe.
Both a 53-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman were charged with break-and-enter to commit an indictable offence.
The man was also charged with possession of stolen property under $5,000.
The charges have not been proven in court.
A third suspect ran from the area before police arrived.
