Three people have been charged after Windsor police interrupted a break-and-enter in progress.
On Thursday afternoon, officers went to a vacant property on Felix Avenue after a report of a break and enter.
On scene, police found three people who had entered the property unlawfully. They were allegedly trying to take a metal light pole that they had cut down by dragging it through an opening in a chain-link fence.
Police arrested the three people on scene, while also seizing two cordless reciprocating saws.
A 37-year-old man, a 32-year-old woman, and a 44-year-old man have each been charged with breaking and entering with the intent to commit an indictable offence and mischief under $5,000.
The 44-year-old man has also been charged with possession of break-in instruments.
