Spits Defeat Battalion

The Windsor Spitfires took their second win in a row over the North Bay Battalion with a 4-1 victory on Thursday.

The Battalion drew first blood with a goal 12 minutes into the first period. However, the Spits made sure the lead was short lived, tying the game 1-1 before the second. Windsor then scored three unanswered goals in the final two periods to take the win.

Slater Doggett was top scorer for Windsor with two goals. Jamie Lewis and Trevor Murphy each scored one.

The Spitfires are back on Friday to take on the Sudbury Wolves at 7:30pm.
