Spirit Edge Spitfires

The Windsor Spitfires have now lost three games in a row, following a 2-1 loss to the Saginaw Spirit on Thursday.

Following a scoreless first period, the Spirit scored two goals to give them the lead going into the final 20 minutes. Windsor scored with 31 seconds left in the game, but couldn't get one more to force overtime.

Jamie Lewis scored Windsor's only goal.

The Spits will take on the Spirit once again on Saturday at 7:11pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
