Express Confident About Second Half

Defending champions, the Windsor Express know they face an uphill battle in the second half of their season.

The team hosts the Brampton As tonight at the WFCU Centre and the Mill Rats on Saturday, before embarking on a two-game road trip next week. Head coach Bill Jones says this is the tough part of the season. "We refuse to lose at home," he says. "We gotta be ready."

Tonight, the team remembers the Windsor Ford V-8s by wearing commemorative jerseys during the game.

The Windsor Ford V-8s won the 1935-36 Canadian Senior Basketball Championship before winning a silver medal at the 1936 Olympic Games.
