Express Down Rainmen At Colosseum

The Windsor Express beat the Halifax Rainmen 95-68 at Caesars Windsor during Clash at the Colosseum Wednesday night.

During the game, the Express took a three point lead over the Rainmen at the end of the first quarter, and then extended their lead to 11 points at half time. Windsor continued to increase their lead, making the score 68-49 by the end of the third, and then leaving Halifax in the dust with a 27 point advantage for the win.

Express Coach Bill Jones says his team has to be aggressive when taking on the Rainmen.

"That's what we want to be," he says. "Halifax is an aggressive team, both offensively and defensively, and we wanted to be aggressive. We came in with that game plan, and the guys executed it well."

The Express take on the Mississauga Power on Saturday at 7pm.
