Petes Double Spits

The Windsor Spitfires lost a 6-3 game to the Peterborough Petes Saturday night.

The Petes took a massive 5-0 lead in the first period and retained their lead after Windsor scored two in the second. The Spits scored once more in the third, but Peterborough scored their sixth goal of the game with less than a minute remaining to ensure their win.

Slater Doggett led Windsor with two goals, while Trevor Murphy scored one.

The Spitfires take on the Kitchener Rangers on Thursday at 7:05pm.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
