Rainmen Pour Down On Express

The Windsor Express are now 19-8 in the season after being outscored by the Halifax Rainmen 128-99 on Sunday.

The Express suffered a tough first period, with Halifax taking a 31-19 lead. Windsor was able to close the gap slightly by halftime, but Halifax remained on top with a 16 point lead at the end of the third. The Express couldn't make any headway in the final frame with the Rainmen winning with a 29 point lead.

Quinnel Brown led Windsor with 17 points, followed closely by Ryan Anderson with 16.

The Windsor Express are back on Friday to take on the London Lightning at 7pm.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
