Greyhounds Outplay Spits

The Windsor Spitfires faltered in the final period to lose 5-3 to the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds Friday night.

Both teams scored in the second period to tie the game 1-1, but the Greyhounds gained their momentum in the third, scoring four goals in a row. Windsor scored two before the end of the game, but it wasn't enough to surpass the Greyhounds.

Slater Doggett, Cristiano DiGiacinto and Logan Brown each scored one goal for Windsor.

The Spitfires face off against the Sarnia Sting on Sunday at 2:05pm.
