Admirals Pushing To Even Finals

The Amherstburg Admirals host the Essex 73's in Game 2 of their Junior C championship series.

Essex forward Matthew Hebert says the team is ready to bring a better effort defensively after Tuesday night's 9-6 scoreline in Game 1. "We got to play our positions," says Hebert. "Everyone's got to take their man and we've got to work harder in our defensive zone."

Admirals captain Luke Gangnon is hoping home ice can help the team even the series. "It's always nice playing at home and I guess, playing back-to-back days is going to be good to bounce back," he says.

Essex leads the series 1-0. Puck drop is set for 7:30pm at the Libro Centre in Amherstburg.
