Spitfires Lose In Shootout

The Windsor Spitfires lost their fourth game in a row after falling 5-4 to the Kitchener Rangers in a shootout.

On Friday, the Rangers took a 3-2 lead in the first period, but Windsor was able to tie things up with one goal in the second. Both teams scored in the third to force overtime. After neither team scored in OT, the Rangers won in the shootout.

Sam Povorozniouk, Jamie Lewis, Jalen Chatfield and Patrick Sanvido each scored one for Windsor.

The Spitfires play the Oshawa Generals next on Sunday at 2:05pm.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
