Kingsville Kings Establish Front Office

Kingsville's new Junior 'A' hockey club has its management in place, and is now looking for players and people to help run gameday operations.

Public Relations Manager Bill Chapman says it's a thrilling time for the new Kingsville Kings. "We're hearing rumblings in the town, that they're very excited as well. But the coaching staff is really raring to go."

Tom Schinkelshoek, who has spent time in various roles with the Chatham Jr. and Sr. Maroons, as well as the Amherstburg Admirals, is the team's president. Under him are General Manager Martin Janssen and Head Coach, from Eastern Michigan University, Gary Astalos.

If you're between the ages of 16 and 21, you can find out how to try out for the Greater Metro Junior A Hockey League's Kings at kingsvillekings.com. There, you can also find information on how to apply for jobs with Kingsville's gameday staff.
