Windsor Native Extends NFL Contract

Windsor's Tyrone Crawford has signed a five-year contract extension with the Dallas Cowboys worth a total of $45-million.

The 25-year-old defensive tackle had a year remaining on his four-year rookie contract, which included a base salary of $675,000 and a $828,813 salary cap number for 2015.

Crawford switched position last year from end to tackle, and posted career highs with 33 tackles, three sacks, four tackles for loss and 29 quarterback pressures.

The Windsor native was selected in the third round of the 2012 draft out of Boise State.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
