Spits Moving On Up

The Windsor Spitfires are up to ninth in the BMO CHL Top 10 Rankings for the 2015-16 season.

The weekly rankings include the best junior teams from across the country playing in the OHL, WHL and QMJHL.

The Spits improved from tenth to ninth and have been in the top ten for three weeks.

The Kitchener Rangers take over the top spot from the Erie Otters, dropping to second in the rankings while the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies round out the top three.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
