Ott Sidelined After Injury

St. Louis Blues forward and former Windsor Spitfire Steve Ott has been sidelined after suffering a hamstring injury.

Ott sustained the injury in Saturday's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs when fell awkwardly into the boards after checking Maple Leafs defenseman Dion Phaneuf. He was helped to the locker room after the first period and did not return to the game.

Ott will undergo surgery on his hamstrings next week and will be off the ice for three months

In 21 games this season, Ott has recorded two assists and 34 penalty minutes.
