Junior Hockey Wrap Up – December 10, 2015

The Leamington Flyers hammered the Lambton Shores Predators 6-1 in Junior B hockey on Thursday.

In their third win in a row, the Flyers scored one goal in the first period, three in the second, and another two in the third before the Predators made it on the board. Lambton Shores scored their only goal with 31 seconds left in the game.

Mitchell Amante led Leamington with two goals, while Derek Elliott, Liam Hogan, Mitchell Crevatin and Evan Ferguson each scored one.

The Flyers will take on the St. Marys Lincolns next on Friday at 7:30pm.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
