Kassian Traded To Edmonton

Multiple reports say LaSalle native and NHLer Zack Kassian has been traded from Montreal to Edmonton.

Early Sunday morning, Hockey Night In Canda's Elliotte Friedman tweeted, saying a trade could be in the works for goalie Ben Scrivens.

On Sunday, TSN's Bob McKenzie confirmed the trade.      Back in October, Kassian was hospitalized after getting into a serious motor vehicle accident. That prompted a nearly two-month stint in a substance abuse program, after which he was cleared to return to the AHL.

The Vancouver Canucks traded Kassian and a 2016 fifth-round pick to Montreal in the offseason, in exchange for Brandon Prust.
