Bishop ran the 800m race in 2:00.60 breaking the previous record set by Diane Cummins in 2003.
The 27-year-old also holds the Canadian record for the outdoor 800m race.
Bishop beat her competitors at the AIT International Grand Prix in Athlone by two seconds.
