Brown Nabs OHL Weekly Award

Windsor Spitfires forward Logan Brown is the OHL Player of the Week.

The 2016 NHL Draft prospect finished the week ending February 28 with seven points in three games, including four goals and a plus-minus rating of plus-two.

“We had all four lines going this weekend after a little slump,” says Brown in a team news release. “Obviously my linemates [Christian Fischer and Brendan Lemieux] have a lot to do with the points I put up this week. It's nice to be recognized like this, but the most important thing here is that we got back on track and that we're playing our best hockey at an important time of the season, heading into the playoffs.”

The Chesterfield, Missouri native is playing in his second OHL season with the Spits and is second in team scoring with 62 points in 51 games.
