Attack Edge Spits In Shootout

The Windsor Spitfires have lost their third game in a row after falling 5-4 to the Owen Sound Attack in a shootout on Saturday.

The Attack scored a 2-0 lead in the first period, and retained a 3-2 advantage after the second. The Spitfires were able to tie things up at 4-4 in the third to force OT, but after no scoring in extra time the Attack scored in the shootout to win the game.

Christian Fischer, Logan Brown, Gabriel Vilardi and Jalen Chatfield each scored once for the Spitfires.

The Spitfires will take on the Kitchener Rangers next on Thursday at 7:05pm.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
