The London Nationals are GOJHL Western Conference champions after defeating the Leamington Flyers 2-1 in double overtime on Saturday.
After no scoring in the first period, Leamington took a 1-0 lead in the first period. However, London was able to tie the game with a goal in the third to force OT. After a scoreless extra period, the Nationals scored the game winner 4:21 into double overtime.
Mitchell Amante scored the single goal for Leamington.
The Nationals won the series 4-2 and will go on to play Stratford in the GOJHL semifinals.
