Spits Sign Late Round Pick

The Windsor Spitfires are signing the team's 6th round pick of the 2016 OHL draft.

Tyler Angle has signed a deal to join the team after being selected 114th overall by the club.

"Tyler skates well and sees the ice very well," says Warren Rychel, vice president general manager for the Spitfires. "He's not the biggest of players, but he plays with grit and determination. He competes hard and is no fun to play against."

Angle is from Thorold, Ontario near St. Catharines and spent the 2015/2016 season with the Southern Tier Admirals.

He's set to take part in tonight's Blue and White game and will join the team in Flint on Friday for the first road exhibition game of the 2016/2017 season.
