Express Fall 105-93 In Season Opener

The Express lost 105-93 to the Orangeville A's during Windsor's season opener on Thursday.

The A's were able to score a 32-19 advantage in the first quarter and kept a 57-40 lead over Windsor as they went into halftime.  Orangeville remained ahead of the Express by 16 points at the end of the third quarter.

Windsor was able to make come within ten points with just over seven minutes left in the game, but the A's wouldn't give up the lead before the buzzer.

Nick Evans lead Windsor with 24 points, and added 13 rebounds. Warren Ward had 19 points of his own.  Clinton Springer also put up 18 points for Windsor.

The Express will battle the A's again for their home opener on Friday at 7pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
