Tyler Russell led LaSalle with two goals, while Liam MacDougall and Manny Silverio both scored once.
Brett Vorshuk, Zach Guilbeault and Liam Hogan each scored a goal for Leamington.
The two teams will face off for Game 3 on Saturday. Tip off is at 7pm in LaSalle.

Gates for the three-day fair will open at the Wyoming Fair Grounds on Main Street on Friday, September 18, at 5 p.m., with opening ceremonies beginning at 7 p.m.
