Express Start Season With Victory Over Titans

The Windsor Express kicked off the NBLC season with a 116-98 win over the Kitchener Waterloo Titans on Saturday.

At the end of the first quarter the Express held a 29-16 advantage over the Titans, and were able to remain ahead by eight points heading into halftime.

Windsor extended their lead to  87-75 at the end of the third frame, and continued to dominate in the fourth to win with an 18 point advantage.

The Express return to the WFCU Centre on November 25 for their home opener against the Halifax Hurricanes at 7pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
