Jr. Hockey Wrap-Up – March 23, 2018

The St. Thomas Stars edged the Leamington Flyers 2-1 on Friday to force Game 7 of the playoff series.

Jaydon Fetter scored the only goal for Leamington.

The series is currently tied 3-3.

The two teams will battle one last time in Game 7 on Sunday. The puck drops at 7:10pm in Leamington.

And in Junior C playoff action, the Lakeshore Canadiens fell 4-3 in overtime to the Lambeth Lancers in Game 2.

Jarrett Tazzman, Liam Hogan and Matt Smith all scored once for Lakeshore.

The best-of-seven series is now tied 1-1.

The puck drops for Game 3 on Sunday at 7:30pm in Lakeshore.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
